Wei CHENG

Dr. Wei Cheng, female, is the Dean of the School of Management at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, a professor, and a PhD supervisor. She leads the National Key Discipline “Traditional Chinese Medicine Management” and heads research teams in health services and hospital management. Dr. Cheng holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Renmin University of China and was a visiting scholar at Northumbria University in the UK. Since 1993, she has held various academic roles, including Vice Dean and Director of Finance at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Cheng also holds leadership roles in several professional associations, including Vice President of the Health Finance Branch of the Chinese Society of Health Economics. Her research focuses on traditional Chinese medicine management, health financial management, and health policy. In the last five years, she has led numerous research projects with over 10 million RMB in funding and has supervised six cohorts of PhD students and 18 cohorts of master’s students.
