The Centre for Pharmaceutical Regulatory Sciences (CPRS) at the University of Macau, established in 2023, is the first of its kind in the region, aiming to drive innovation, promote research translation, and protect public health. CPRS is dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical regulatory science through cutting-edge research, education, training, and collaboration. It serves as a hub for communication and collaboration in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, focusing on regulatory capacity building, excellence, and convergence. CPRS brings together renowned experts who provide scientific expertise in evaluating various pharmaceutical products, including innovative medicines, Traditional Chinese Medicine products, and medical devices. Leveraging its international attributes and historical connections, CPRS is envisioned to play an integral role in strengthening pharmaceutical systems, promoting the health industry, and reaching out to neighboring regions, Portuguese-speaking countries, and other international counterparts.
