Dr. Guanyang Zou, male, is a Researcher and PhD supervisor at the School of Public Health and Management, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, where he is also a Xinglin Young Scholar. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English (International Business Secretary) from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Sun Yat-sen University, a Master’s degree in Health Management, Planning, and Policy (with distinction) from the University of Leeds, and a PhD in Global Health from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

Dr. Zou specializes in health systems research, particularly in infectious and chronic disease management, with experience in both China and Africa. He has worked on various research projects and was a visiting researcher at the Health Policy Research Center for Migrant Populations at Sun Yat-sen University. He is a member of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Medical Association’s Division for Bacterial Infections and Drug Resistance, and vice-chair of the Guangdong Medical Association’s Division for Bacterial Infections and Drug Resistance.

Dr. Zou has published over 70 papers in SCI/SSCI-indexed journals, with more than 30 as first or corresponding author, and has authored commentary articles in The Lancet and The Lancet Global Health. His decision-making reports have been recognized by senior leaders in policy circles.
