The Centre for Pharmaceutical Regulatory Sciences, University of Macau was established in 2023. The Centre will serve as a hub for the convergence of regulatory systems in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to implement a sustainable communication and collaboration platform for promoting regulatory excellence and convergence, capacity building in key priority areas relevant to medical product regulation in Macao and the Greater Bay Area, as well as cross-sector, cross-region and international regulatory cooperation and exchange to promote the global development of the pharmaceutical industry.

The Core of Regulatory Science is about leveraging the advancement of science in the optimization of regulatory decision-making to create a synergy much more substantial than just recognizing the science in pharmaceutical regulation.
