Dr. Jian Wang, male, is a Professor and PhD supervisor at the Dong Fureng Institute of Economic and Social Development, Wuhan University, where he also serves as Deputy Director. He holds a PhD in Economics from The University of Newcastle, Australia, and has extensive experience in health economics and policy research. Dr. Wang has previously worked as a World Bank Visiting Scholar and Postdoctoral Researcher at Peking University, and as a Lecturer at The University of Newcastle.
Dr. Wang has published over 60 articles in SCI, SSCI, and CSSCI journals, including leading international journals such as the Journal of Medical Internet Research and the Bulletin of the World Health Organization. He has also contributed to over 100 Chinese core journal articles and has authored or edited several books and textbooks. He is a member of expert groups for national health and policy initiatives, including the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Healthcare Security Administration. Additionally, he serves as a course professor at Tsinghua University’s
Center for Public Health Research.
